Korean Traditional Performing Arts on Unexpected Stages

The ART SPOT Series
The ART SPOT Series conveys the contemporary relevance of traditional arts by presenting performances in cultural spaces not typically recognized as venues for traditional performances.

[Regional Edition]
Traditional performances are brought to diverse cultural venues across the Chungcheong region, including an arboretum in Sejong, a lakeside park in Cheonan, and historic sites in Asan.
[Museum Edition]
Korea’s traditional performances—designated as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity—such as Pansori (narrative singing), Jultagi (tightrope walking), and Talchum (mask dance drama), will be showcased at the National Museum of Korea.
